Dr. Richard Stoffle, Professor of Anthropology at the University of Arizona in the Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology, presented free public lectures in Anchorage, Seward, Fairbanks and Nenana. His presentation is entitled: "Powerful Connections: The Paths of the Southern Paiute in a Volcanic Landscape." Dr. Stoffle's lecture is sponsored by the Alaska Anthropological Association Public Education Group through a grant from the Alaska Humanities Forum.
