Announcing the BARA Brunch

New lecture series in Applied Anthropology

August 2011 - In conjunction with the Intellectual Foundations of Applied Anthropology seminar (Anthropology 507), instructors Diane Austin and Tom McGuire have organized a series of presentations by distinguished colleagues throughout the semester. The inaugural “BARA BRUNCH” will be devoted to Anthropology and Public Policy, led by Merrill Eisenberg of the College of Public Health, and current president of the Society for Applied Anthropology, with the assistance of Diane Austin. This will be a two-part session, Tuesday, August 30, and Thursday, September 1, held in Harvill 103 from 9:30 to 10:45. We cordially invite all interested colleagues – students, faculty, and community members – to attend. Subsequent brunches (given limited resources, these will unfortunately be BYOB – bring your own brunch) will be held through the semester. Please see the attached flyer for more information.
