Biography: Kathryn Turney, a first generation college student, began her study of Archaeology after a successful career in publishing. She is the proud mother of three biological children, two stepchildren and one adopted child, all grown, along with four fur babies. She is also grandmother of two girls. Kathryn is a member of the Dean’s List, a member of BARA, and recipient of several scholarships while at the University of Arizona. She looks forward to her next step, graduate studies in the Applied Program at Northern Arizona University in Fall 2015. Kathryn won the SOA Leadership Award.
