CENTENNIAL UPDATE: SAA Reception and More

Are you attending this year’s Society for American Archaeology annual meeting in San Francisco? On Friday, April 17, the University of Arizona Press will host a reception in honor of the School of Anthropology’s Centennial at 3:00 p.m. in their booth at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

There’s still time to register for “Celebrating Excellence: Women in UA Anthropolgy.” Sponsored by the University of Arizona Library in honor of Arizona Anthropology’s Centennial, the panel discussion will be held this coming Tuesday, March 31, 6:00–7:30 PM in Special Collections, 1510 East University Boulevard, and will feature Associate ProfessorJennifer Roth-Gordon, Assistant Professor Stacey Tecot, Associate Professor Marcela Vásquez-León, and Professor Mary Voyatzis.
