As part of an on-going initiative to advance development studies at the UA, BARA is sponsoring a spring 2007 seminar series.  The overarching theme of the series is to explore the process by which ideas, concepts, theories, methods—many of them forged in university settings—become incorporated into development practice and policy

BARA is pleased to welcome Dr. Tom Marchione, a specialist in International Development and Nutrition to the UA campus, April 10-11, 2007.  Dr. Marchione holds a Ph.D. in anthropology from the University of Connecticut and has extensive experience in health and nutrition research and program initiatives worldwide.
